BACKGROUND
2016
The first edition of the Smart City Expo is held in Mexico, with Puebla being the host city, bringing together 7,900 attendees.
2017-2019
The event was consolidated in Puebla for 3 years as Smart City Expo LATAM Congress (SCELC), reaching more than 10,000 attendees.
2020
Adapting to the circumstances, the SCELC holds its first 100% virtual edition.
2021-actual
Starting in 2021, the great smart cities event in Latin America returns to in-person mode and takes place in a new host city: Mérida, Yucatán.
Great territories are created collaboratively; The sum of the effort, between public and private actors to implement viable actions that guarantee real impacts, contributes to generating more sustainable, technological and inclusive societies.
The SCELC24 is the place where great ideas, solutions, experience, the most innovative initiatives converge and the meeting center of the most influential leaders who are improving all environments in Latin America.
